  1. Warm Up
    • On your warm up binder paper:
    • Write your own sentence for 3 of the following vocabulary words: determine, discriminate, individuality, prepare, understanding.
    • Be prepared to share!
      • Teacher can call on students or use sticks to check for understanding.
      • Collect warm-up.
  2. Write About It Partner Check List (p. 139 of handout)
    • Trade your paragraph with a partner and complete the checklist #1-4.
    • Students who do not have their paragraph completed should write it on their own, NOT work with a partner ; )
    • Teacher will call on partners or use sticks for a sampling of paragraphs on love at first sight.
  3. Vocabulary Workshop (p. 140-141 of handout)
